Human Resources in 2022

Join us for our 5-session series covering topics that are relevant to the challenges we are facing together in 2022 from a people management and retention perspective.

Recruiting Tactics to get you the people you need Recruiting is very competitive now. Most of us are no longer in the position to wait for candidates to find us, we must go out and find candidates. This session will cover ways you can engage with candidates and ways to improve your recruitment marketing efforts in a way that leverages what makes you a unique employer. – JUNE 16, 2022

Retention best practices to keep your workforce engaged A competitive recruiting market means that your employees are likely being targeted by recruiters right now. Your best defense for keeping your employees is creating an engaging environment that they are happy to be part of. This session covers ways that HR and Management can have a positive impact on retention without busting the budget. – JULY 21, 2022

Creating and implementing inclusive policies. As legislation, our employees needs/wants, and our customers change – our policies must keep up, but actually updating our policies is a mundane task that often gets pushed to the side while your HR team focuses on more immediate demands. This session shows you a few simple steps to assess your existing policies for inclusivity and how you can update them to reflect the current work environment. – AUGUST 18, 2022

Compensation & Benefits A lot of us have found that an hourly rate or salary is not the only resource to convince an employee to join our team. Candidates want to know how you show your employees you care about them through your total compensation and benefits package. This session facilitates discussion on some creative ways to offer benefits to your employees that make a difference. – SEPTEMBER 15, 2022

Employment Law Update – Workplace changes required by COVID-19 are causing ongoing legal issues for employers.  In addition, the Biden Administration is implementing regulatory changes at the Department of Labor and National Labor Relations Board.  Finally, we are seeing an increase in enforcement by the EEOC.  This session will provide employers with an update on the latest issues in employment law and strategies for addressing those issues as they arise. – OCTOBER 20, 2022
