The Scottsboro City Council, Mayor McCamy, Main Street Scottsboro, and the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Scottsboro Christmas Parade in conjunction with Jingle Bell Square on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The theme for this year’s parade is a Hero’s Christmas in honor of all of our first responders who have served our community so faithfully during the pandemic. Therefore, our Parade Marshalls this year will be our First Responders. The parade will begin at the Trammell Football Stadium and end at the Square.
Throughout the day there will be vendors, food, music, and horse and buggy rides on the Square. The Christmas Parade will follow these activities, and the day will end with pictures with Santa in the bandstand, plus horse and buggy rides around the Square, and arcade games.
For those wanting to participate in the Christmas Parade, stop by the Chamber at 407 E Willow Street between the hours of 8:30-4:30, Monday through Friday. There is a $10 registration fee which will go towards Angel Tree to purchase Christmas gifts for children within the local foster care system. Safety will be of upmost importance; candy will be allowed, but we ask participants and attendees to practice caution.
If you would like to be a vendor for Jingle Bell Square, please email Katie Kirkland at or fill out the Jingle Bell Square Vendor Registration form on the Scottsboro Trade Days Facebook page.
