One of the top questions we receive is, “what do I get for being a Chamber Member?” It’s a valid question, considering the fact that you spend money to invest in our support of you – every year.
For that reason, we wanted to make sure all our members have quick & easy access to review & take advantage of paid benefits.

We care about your professional development and often coordinate classes that include training on everything from Marketing to Customer Service. Keep a lookout for classes offered by the Chamber both on our website and Facebook event pages. Often, classes are FREE & when they are paid classes, Chamber Members ALWAYS receive a discount to attend.
Active on Instagram? We are & would love to help amplify you!
This is a newer feature we’ve added and members can sign up for the chance to tell their business story on our Instagram story account, which receives roughly 60 regulars daily made up of local community members throughout Northeast Alabama and Southeastern Tennessee.
We are always looking for creative ways to help our members connect with each other. Watch for the next “Plug Into the Chamber” event, which is a great way to do that, but feel free to keep tabs on our Facebook event page.
Members are even welcome to approach us to host an event that we will gladly promote and help organize on your behalf!
We offer all our new members a Ribbon Cutting. It’s a chance to launch your business within the community and the local papers are always present. The photo and “launch celebration” is then posted in the paper and our social media accounts. We often have businesses that offer free food and giveaways, but it’s not a necessity. Feel free to get as creative as you would like.
Each member is assigned a unique login to access your account from our website. Here you can stay digitally connected to our user-friendly website where members have access to: submit their events, go to your member login to update your profile and connect with other members, or even link to the page where others are offering a member to member discount.
This local group of up-and-coming community leaders is just getting off the ground. With a focus on being an active voice among the business community, you are welcome to join in and add your voice & vision to the ongoing conversation.

Pro Tip: Part of the magic in being a chamber member is finding where you connect with fellow members and then getting involved in that area. We are proud to partner with a local same-day delivery partner helping our local retailers compete with Amazon. The state of the art service is available to Chamber members at a discounted subscription fee of $39 per month, which is a savings of $20 per month to take advantage of their same day delivery service within DeKalb and Jackson Counties. https://gonative.info/
Have you met our mascot, Catch?
Members have the opportunity to sign up and hide our mascot, so a local shopper can win $100 to spend in your store. There are 52 chances per year, which means limited space is available, so sign up early to get your spot. “Find Catch!”
