CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS
Fourth Thursday of Each Month
The Mountain Lakes Chamber Executive Committee and Board of Directors meet monthly with Chamber leadership and invited guests to discuss the work, priorities and business of the organization.
Meal Sponsorship Opportunity
Sponsors help provide lunch for approximately 25 board members and guests and receive recognition at the meeting. When catering is needed, we make every effort to support Chamber-member businesses.

BUSINESS ASSOCIATES SOCIAL HOUR — B.A.S.H.
Quarterly
B.A.S.H. brings Chamber members, business leaders and community partners together for relaxed, after-hours networking throughout the year. These events are organized with the support of our Emissary Volunteer Program and are designed to create connections, strengthen relationships and showcase our Chamber members.
Quarterly B.A.S.H. sponsorship opportunities may include hosting the event, providing refreshments or supporting event expenses.

ANNUAL STATE OF THE STATE

The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce hosts members of the Jackson and DeKalb County Legislative Delegation for an annual update on issues affecting our region.
Attendees hear directly from state leaders about legislative accomplishments, current priorities and plans for the year ahead. The event brings together business, community and government leaders and typically receives local print and television media coverage.
Sponsorship provides an opportunity to position your organization alongside an important regional conversation about the future of Northeast Alabama.

2027 MONTGOMERY DRIVE-IN
Spring 2027 | Date TBD
The Chamber’s annual Montgomery Drive-In takes Jackson County’s voice directly to the Alabama State Capitol.
Business and elected leaders travel to Montgomery to meet with legislators and state officials, advocate for priorities important to Jackson County and Northeast Alabama, and strengthen relationships with decision-makers at the state level.
The overnight trip also provides valuable opportunities for local leaders to connect with one another while gaining a deeper understanding of state government and the issues affecting our businesses and communities.
Approximately 20–25 business and community leaders participate, with portions of the trip coordinated alongside Leadership Jackson County.

2027 D.C. FLY-IN
February/March 2027 | Date TBD
The Mountain Lakes Chamber’s D.C. Fly-In takes Jackson County’s priorities to our nation’s capital.
Approximately 20–30 business, community and elected leaders travel to Washington, D.C., for scheduled meetings with members of Alabama’s congressional delegation and other leaders. The trip is strategically timed around the congressional calendar and federal issues important to Jackson County and Northeast Alabama.
Participants have the opportunity to discuss local priorities directly with federal decision-makers, learn more about issues affecting our region and build relationships that strengthen Jackson County’s voice in Washington.
The itinerary also traditionally includes a visit to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The State of the County brings business and community leaders together to hear directly from the Jackson County Commission Chairman about the county’s accomplishments, current priorities and plans for the year ahead.
Traditionally offered as a complimentary community event, the breakfast welcomes approximately 250–350 attendees. Sponsorship support allows the Chamber to provide breakfast while keeping the event accessible to the community.

2027 SCOTTSBORO STATE OF THE CITY

The Scottsboro State of the City brings business and community leaders together for an annual update from the Mayor of Scottsboro, highlighting accomplishments from the previous year and priorities for the year ahead.
Approximately 250–350 attendees traditionally join us for this complimentary community breakfast. Sponsorship support helps the Chamber provide breakfast and make the event available to the community at no charge.

STATE OF EDUCATION ADDRESS

The State of Education connects Jackson County’s business community with the leaders shaping education and workforce preparation across our area.
Leaders from Scottsboro City Schools, Jackson County Schools and Northeast Alabama Community College provide updates from their institutions and discuss priorities, opportunities and issues affecting students, educators, employers and our community.

The State of Healthcare provides Jackson County businesses and community members with an opportunity to hear directly from leadership at Highlands Medical Center about healthcare in our community.

THE SUMMIT
Mountain Lakes Chamber Awards & Annual Celebration

The Summit is the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s signature annual celebration—an evening dedicated to recognizing the people, businesses and organizations that help make Jackson County an exceptional place to live, work and do business.

2027 ALL-COUNTY ACADEMIC BANQUET

The All-County Academic Banquet celebrates outstanding graduating seniors from high schools throughout Jackson County, recognizing students who rank among the top five percent of their graduating classes.
Students are honored alongside their parents, schools, faculty and staff for the work and support behind their academic achievement. Each student receives a commemorative plaque, with opportunities throughout the evening to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments.
Held at the Scottsboro-Goose Pond Civic Center, the banquet traditionally welcomes approximately 125–175 students, family members, educators and community leaders.
Sponsorship provides local businesses and organizations an opportunity to stand alongside Jackson County’s students and educators while helping the Chamber celebrate academic excellence across our community.
