Jackson County is also fortunate enough to have several jaw-dropping golf courses. One with stunning lower Appalachian Mountain views and the other with a Lakeside Course that has views for days.

The Plantation Course at Goose Pond Colony Resort

This is an 18 hole course featuring new MiniVerde greens, open fairways and plenty of hazards and just a short drive from the main complex. The Plantation Course was recently renovated and have new Mini-Verde greens.

The Lake Course by Goose Pond Colony Resort

This course is a George Cobb design that opened in 1971. With its natural layout and views of the Tennessee River from every hole, the course has received many accolades over the past few years.

Dogwood Hills Golf Course

Located near the tip of Sand Mountain in Jackson County, this Golf Digest Four Star Rated course is an easy drive from cities throughout the tri-state area of Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Scottsboro Golf & Country Club

Scottsboro Golf and Country Club is a 9-hole private course that features 2,760 yards from the longest tees for a par of 35.
